ABOUT THE ARTIST: Alexander Melnikov (Oleksandr Melnykov) was born on July 12, 1959 in Serpukhov, Moscow Region. In 1984 he graduated from the Odessa State Art College. Grekov, and in 1990 he graduated from the National Academy of Arts and Architecture, faculty of easel painting, workshop of Academician Shatalin V.V. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Participant of numerous group and solo exhibitions both in Ukraine and abroad. The artist's name is listed in the Benezit Dictionary of Artists. The Benezit dictionary publishes bibliographic information about painters, sculptors, designers and engravers and is designed primarily for art museums, auction houses, art historians and dealers.
