ABOUT THE ARTIST: Zorya Galina Denisovna - born on September 14, 1915 in the city of Yenakievo, Donetsk region. She studied at the Kiev Art Institute. Teachers: Boychuk M., Boychuk-Nalepinskaya S., Sedlyar V., Volokidin P., Shovkunenko O. Worked in the industry of easel painting. Since 1947, she took part in republican and all-Union exhibitions. Main works: “Autumn Flowers” (1957); "Still life. Souvenirs" (1960); “Chestnuts”, “Bread and Salt”, “Marigolds” (1967) and others. The artist’s works are kept in museums in Ukraine, Russia and private collections in Europe, Asia and the USA. Galina Denisovna died in 2002.
