ABOUT THE ARTIST: Chernoknizhny Grigory Petrovich - was born on January 23, 1915 in the village of Second Ukrainians, now Russia. Studied at the Kharkov Art Institute. Teachers: Kozik M., Prokhorov S., Samokish M. Worked in the field of easel and monumental painting. Since 1957 he has been participating in republican and foreign exhibitions. Major works: "The feat of Lieutenant Ermolaev" (1945); "Verkhovinka", "Milkmaid" (1957); "Dawn. IN AND. Lenin and F.E. Dzerzhinsky" (1959 - 1960); "To revolutionary Russia" (1967) and others. The artist died in 1993.
