ABOUT THE ARTIST: Georgy Vladimirovich Tolpekin was born on February 18, 1922 in Kyiv. Studied at the Kyiv State Art Institute. The teacher is Trokhymenko K. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Since 1949, he has participated in republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. Worked in the field of easel painting. Main works: "Road to the collective farm" (1952), "Ukrainian spring" (1958), "Morning on the Dnieper" (1959), "Carpathians" (1970), "Roses" (1976), "Flowers and fruits" (1978 ), "Winter" (1985) and others. The paintings are stored in the Chernihiv Regional Art Museum, in other museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. Georgy Vladimirovich died in 1990.
