ABOUT THE ARTIST: Irina Stolyarova was born in the beautiful ancient city of Zhitomir in 1982. She began to study painting at the age of 7 years. Later she graduated from the art and graphic department of K.D. Ushinsky University in Odessa. The aspiring artist then defended her diploma with honors at the painting department. Member of the Zhytomyr branch of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2010. Irina is a regular participant in various international and all-Ukrainian exhibitions. Personal exhibitions of the artist are also held regularly. Irina Stolyarova constantly takes part in various art projects, both in Zhitomir and Kyiv. The artist is the winner of the International Exhibition "Ukrainian Art Week 2012" in the "Genre Painting" category with her painting "Dream". The artist’s paintings are in private collections and galleries in many countries around the world. Irina Stolyarova's painting style is very bright, varied and a little ironic. The paintings reflect the artist’s kind, often slightly sad view of our lives, our weaknesses and shortcomings. Pictures that teach us to be at least a little kinder to each other. After all, we are only human and everyone has their shortcomings. The very diverse and multifaceted creativity of Irina Stolyarova, an artist who is in active creative search, may be of interest to art lovers with completely different preferences and tastes.
